Scented Candle 14oz Gold & Cashmere

Here are some great and simple instructions for caring for scented candles and how to properly light them:

Caring for Scented Candles

• Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (6-7 mm) to prevent soot and ensure a clean burn.

• Burn Until Melted: Allow the candle to burn until the entire surface has melted evenly to avoid tunneling.

• Avoid Drafts: Keep candles away from drafts, vents, and fans to prevent uneven burning and excessive soot.

• Store Properly: Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve their scent and color.

• Keep It Clean: Remove any debris, such as wick trimmings or matches, from the wax pool to avoid flare-ups.

Properly Lighting Scented Candles

• Use a Lighter or Long Match: Use a lighter or long match to light the wick at its base for a more even burn.

• Allow It to Burn: Let the candle burn for at least 2 hours, but no more than 4 hours, to achieve a full melt pool.

• Extinguish Safely: To extinguish the candle, use a candle snuffer to avoid splattering hot wax or blowing soot.

• Wait to Relight: Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting to avoid improper burning.

By following these simple steps, you can ensure that your scented candles burn beautifully and last longer, providing you with delightful fragrances.
